-FAQs-

  • What is a postpartum doula?

A postpartum doula provides non-medical, nurturing support to families during the weeks and months after birth. My role is to care for you so you can care for your baby — offering emotional support, newborn care, gentle guidance, and practical help as you recover and adjust.
  • Who is postpartum doula support for?

Postpartum support is for any family welcoming a baby — first-time parents, growing families, single parents, and those recovering from both challenging and joyful births. If you’re craving rest, reassurance, and a calm presence during postpartum, this support is for you.
  • What does a typical visit look like?

Each visit is guided by your needs that day. Support may include caring for your newborn while you rest, emotional check-ins, light household support, feeding reassurance, or simply holding space as you process your experience. There is no pressure or agenda — this time is about your recovery.
  • When should I book Ella?

Many families book during pregnancy to ensure availability, but you’re welcome to reach out at any point postpartum. Support can be especially helpful in the first few weeks, but it’s never “too late” to receive care.
  • Do you offer day and night support?

Yes. I provide both daytime and overnight postpartum support. Day visits focus on recovery and practical care, while overnight support helps parents get much-needed rest as their baby is cared for through the night.
